Overview

NOVICE is the leading software suite for space systems radiation effects — a mission-critical tool used in satellite and deep-space probe programs for decades. Current users include multiple NASA facilities, the CalTech Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, and numerous aerospace and defense companies across North America and Europe. NOVICE calculates and models radiation transport methods and effects, enabling the design and 3D modeling of spacecraft and discrete space system components using combinatorial solid geometry (CSG). The platform also supports medical applications for radiation-based therapies.
